Senior Cold Fusion / SQL Developer

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and professional person to lead our development team. This position reports directly to the CEO.

To be successful in this role you will require the following skills and experience:

  • Degree qualified
  • Minimum 5 years of web application development
  • Expert ColdFusion skills
  • Knowledge of application frameworks (Mach II, Fusebox etc)
  • Experience with CFC's
  • Knowledge of CF performance monitoring
  • Object Orientated programming and development
  • Experience in building multi-tiered applications
  • Technical writing and documentation
  • Advanced SQL skills including stored procedures and MS SQL server admin
  • Javascript, DHTML, HTML, XML, CSS

The following attributes would be advantageous

  • The ability to communicate fluently in a major Asian or European language
  • An understanding of the online dating industry

Junior Cold Fusion / SQL developer

Web site Translators and Localizers - (Casual Positions)

Must possess good PC skills, know how to use the Internet and have experience in translation. Some exposure to Macromedia Dreamweaver or Web site design software is advantageous but not essential

Bilingual Customer Service Representatives & Translators - (Casual / Part-time)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to appoint highly motivated and professional people to assist in all aspects of online translation, localization, customer service, marketing and administration.

The proven performers we seek for these fast-paced and challenging roles will be responsible for the provision of translation, localization, customer service, marketing, reporting and various administrative tasks for bi-lingual web sites. Must possess good PC skills, know how to use the Internet and have a desire to learn about e-commerce and the online dating industry. The ability to communicate fluently in a major Asian or European language is ESSENTIAL.

Experience in the use of Dreamweaver, Photoshop or Fireworks is useful, but not essential. This is a part-time / casual position. Flexible working arrangements can be made for candidates who are currently studying at TAFE or University or simply want to work on a part time or casual basis.

There is a reasonable prospect that some of the above positions will become full-time at a later date.

MS SQL Developer / Data warehouse Developer- (6 Month Contract)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and professional MS SQL Developer / datawarehouse Developer. To be considered for this position candidates must meet the following requirements:

Skills / Experience:

  • 5+ years experience with large SQL 2000-2005 database design and architecture
  • Physical/ logical modelling of database applications
  • Knowledge of reporting and analysis tools
  • Experience with data transformation services and complex transact SQL
  • Experience in designing and delivering business intelligence solutions
  • Knowledge of database concepts (views, indexes, stored procedures, triggers etc).
  • Experience in data warehousing analysis, design and data modelling.
  • Tertiary Qualifications in IT
  • MCDBA preferred
